In the morning of April 9th, the yearly Spring Track and Field Sports Meeting of CQUST kicked off in Lide Stadium.

The opening performance of our school, together with the orchestras and choirs of Chongqing University, Chongqing Normal University, Chongqing Medical University, Changjiang Normal University and Chengdu Institute of Technology, kicked off the Games.

At the opening ceremony, the national flag guard team, the emblem team, the colorful flag balloon garland team, the referee team, the secondary college team, the graduate student team, the international college team, and the faculty team dressed neatly and entered in turn. They were full of energy and vigor. Athletes' representative Wang Haoyu and referees' representative Zhang Yi swore in turn that they would devote themselves to holding the meeting in a fair, just and open atmosphere.

After two days of fierce competition, the top eight winners of men's category were School of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, School of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Vocational and Technical Teachers College, Graduate Team, School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering and School of Architectural Engineering; The top eight winners of women's category are School of Business Administration, School of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, School of Law, Politics and Trade, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, School of Architectural Engineering and School of Electrical Engineering. In addition, the School of Business Administration, the School of Architecture and Engineering, and the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering won the Sports Moral Fashion Award.
