On July 21, the Inaugural Meeting ofthe Alliance of Application-Oriented Universities Committed to Promote Integration between Industry and Education in Chengdu-Chongqing Twin City Economic Circle, led by Chongqing University of Science and Technology and Chengdu Technological University, was held simultaneously in the two university venuesand was broadcasted in interactive mode of livestreaming.

The meetingunanimouslyadopted theRulesof the Alliance of Application-Oriented Universities Committed to Promote Integration between Industry and Education in Chengdu-Chongqing Twin City Economic Circleand the list of thefirst standing director units of the alliance.

It is reported that theAlliance of Application-Oriented Universities Committed to Promote Integration between Industry and Education in Chengdu-Chongqing Twin City Economic Circle,jointly initiated and established by 40 applied undergraduate universities in Chengdu-Chongqing region and 16 enterprises abovedesignatedsize,will serve as a platform for cooperation, communication and collaborative development, which was. In the future,theAlliancewill continue to expand the ‘circle of friends’ of university-enterprise cooperation and industry-education integration, and attract more application-oriented universities, high-quality enterprises and social organizations to join the Alliance.The main task of the alliance will be to strengthen the cooperation and exchangeofalliances (associations) of domestic and foreign application-oriented universities in terms of industry-education integration, and jointly cultivate high-quality applied talents. The alliance will view promoting the construction of Chengdu-ChongqingTwin City Economic Circleas its responsibility. What’s more, the alliance will serve andsupport the regional economic and social development, and make active contributions to the construction of modern industrial systemand the formation of important growth in high-quality development.
