Recently, China Engineering Education Accreditation Association has issued the "Notice on Announcing the Conclusion of the Accreditation of 402 College Majors Including Mechanical Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University", in which the results were announced as regard to engineering majors participated in the national engineering education accreditation in 2009. CQUST's Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation is among the list of majors certified by China Engineering Education Accreditation Association, and the certification will be valid for six years, from January 2020 to December 2025. So far, nine of our majors have become the first batch of colleges and universities which have started international engineering education, continuing to be ahead of other undergraduation institutions of Chongqing.
