On the morning of March 28, the signing and appointment ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement between Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting INC.,China National Petroleum Corporation and Chongqing University of Science and Technology was held in Conference Room 105 of the office building. Gou Liang, Executive Director of China Petroleum Society, Director of Petroleum Geophysical Prospecting Professional Committee, Vice President of China Geophysical Society, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Director of Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting INC.,China National Petroleum Corporation, and Zhang Shaohua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Director of Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting INC.,China National Petroleum Corporation attended the meeting.

At the meeting, CQUST President Zhao Mingjie gave an overview of chief achievements of the university in recent years. Subsequently, Zhao Mingjie signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhang Shaohua on behalf of the university and presented him with a appointment letter for visiting professorship.

In his remarks, Zhang Shaohua congratulated the CQUST on its development and achievements in recent years, and thanked the university for its support in the development of Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting INC. He introduced the leap-forward developmental achievements of the company in such areas as technological innovation, talent cultivation and university-enterprise partnerships. He said that cooperation with CQUST should be further strengthened on three dimensions: deepening cooperation relations, expanding cooperation fields and improving cooperation mechanisms. He believed that exchanges could further promote the in-depth integration of the university and the company.

Gou Liang thanked his alma mater for the education and support that he personally received, and said that he would give full play to the special bond between the university and BGP in deepening the cooperation between the two sides, promoting win-win cooperation by shared endeavors in cooperative development, to move forward for mutual progress of the university and BGP.

Zhao Mingjie said that the spirit of innovation displayed by BGP in recent years is deeply appreciated by the faculty and students of the whole university. He stressed that alumni and partners will be glad to know that the university will further strengthen its core competiveness , deepen reforms, and maintain its openness.
