The results of the the 4th National College Safety Science & Engineering Teaching Contest for Young Teachers were announced a few days ago. Xiang Yue, a teacher of our university, won a second prize.
The National College Safety Science & Engineering Teaching Contest for Young Teachers is jointly organized by the Society of Public Safety Science and Technology and the Committee of National College Safety Science and Engineering Annual Academic Conference. It is the only national college teaching competition for safety science and engineering teachers. The competition consists of two parts: preliminary and final. Teachers from more than 60 colleges and universities across the country signed up to participate in the competition, and finally 22 people were shortlisted for the final. This year's finals were broadcast live online on November 21. After careful preparation by the college and professor Xiang Yue, we finally won a second prize in the competition, which is also the best result of our university in the competition over the years.
