On September 17, Rongyuan commercial street played the host to the 2021 Mid-Autumn-Festival-themed cultural event , which was sponsored by the Publicity Department of the university CPC committee and jointly organized by the General Party Branch of the School Of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and the General Party Branch of the School of Architectural Engineering.

The event was divided into three parts, specifically "Throwing Arrows in a Pot in the Ancient Style ", "Write Family Letters to Show your Love " and " Mid-Autumn Painting Showcase ". The activity attracted extensive participation of many teachers and students. At the event site, teachers and students with arrowheads in hands and breath abated, took aim and tried to shoot the wooden arrows into the pots. They wrote their thoughts and best wishes to their families and friends on postcards in the traditional three-line format. At the same time, paintings by teachers and students were displayed at the venue to pay tribute of the whole university to Centennial Anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and to express their thoughts of folks at home and the appreciation of a prosperous life, in a vivid showcase of profound love of CQUST teachers and students for families and our country.
