As part of the celebration for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the evening of June 30 saw the the faculty chorus competition held in the Performance Hall of the faculty activity center. The theme of the contest was "Follow the Party and Strive for a New Journey".

After more than two hours of fierce competition, "The Brightest Star In The Night Sky" sung by the School Of Humanities And Arts and "Under The Bright Sun" by the the library union branch and the School of Vocational and Technical Teaching won the first prizes. Union branches of the School of Electrical Engineering, the School of Petroleum And Natural Gas Engineering, Functional Departments , and Assets and Logistics Department won the second prize. In addition, third prizes went to union branches of of the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Intelligent Technology and Engineering, the School of Law, Politics and Economics, the School of Metallurgy, and Materials Engineering and the School of Business Administration.
