On the morning of April 21, the Seminar on the Development of Heavy Oil Thermal Recovery was held in CQUST. Zhou Shouwei, the vice president of China Association for Science and Technology, the academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, the distinguished professor of CQUST and the director of Academic Committee of National Key Laboratory of Unconventional Oil and Gas Development (Proposed), attended and presided over the conference.

Academician Zhou Shouwei gave full recognition to the progress of the construction of our offshore heavy oil thermal recovery and GAGD laboratory. Also, he made arrangements for the next key work such as the laboratory undertaking major scientific research projects and expanding publicity, etc. Simultaneously, he deployed the trail production promotion work of GAGD engineering prototype.
