On January 17th, the Seminar on Teaching Reform of Higher Mathematics and First-Class Course was held in the Conference Room 105 of the administration building of our university. The seminar was hosted by Chongqing Mathematical Society and organized by the School of Mathematics and Big Data of CQUST. More than 60 teachers from Southwest University, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Chongqing Technology and Business University and other universities attended the seminar. Experience and achievements of improving the teaching quality were discussed on site.

During the report stage of the seminar, two teachers, Liu Lisha and Wang Lei, representing our teaching faculty, shared and exchanged their experience on construction and reform of Advanced Mathematics. It is reported that the Ministry of Education selected the first batch of 5118 national first-class undergraduate courses in 2020, among which 85 courses were from Chongqing, and 2 of them are courses from our university – "Advanced Mathematics (Economics and Management)" and "Electrical and Electronic Technology".
