Recently, the final results were announced of the Final of the Fifth National Skills Competition of Construction Technology Application for ArchitectureColleges and Universities . Four teams composed of 12 students from our university, who majored in engineering management in 2018, engineering management (Upgraded) in 2017, civil engineering in 2018, and water supply and drainage science and engineering in 2018, won two first prize and one third prize for the team, and five second prizes and five third prizes for individuals; Xu Dian, Li Yan, Liao Xiaofeng and other teachers won the Award for Excellent Instructor.

It is reported that a total of 1036 teachers and 10949 participants of 1164 teams from over 600 colleges and universities in China signed up for the competition. Since March 2020, 374 teams from 171 colleges and universities participated in the finals by remote online competition through various competition methods, such as the network points challenge, online provincial competition and national simulated selection competition.
