The International Symposium on Distance Foreign Teaching and Practice, co-sponsored by the Veracruz University and the Queretaro Autonomous University in Mexico, was held via ZOOM platform at Veracruz University on May 26. Professor Zhou Qihui of our university was invited to make a speech at the symposium.

Prof. Zhou's speech was entitled “Distance Teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language at the Veracruz University”, which introduced the teaching objectives, methods, challenges, teaching platforms, contents and practices. His speech was highly appreciated by the participants.

It is reported that 120 participants attended the symposium. Sixteen representatives from 4 countries and 8 regions delivered speeches.
